I have tried an alpha pattern in the past, but I was too ambitious and started a harder one, and got discouraged by how the back looked. I want to try these two patterns: #107176 and #107176. Is this too ambitious to start out with? If it is, what would you guys recommend? |

You linked only one pattern which has 24 strings and is a shaped pattern. For the first pattern I would recommend something with a little less base strings, even though 24 might be doable. I definitely would not recommend a shaped pattern as the first alpha. The amount of colours (3) seems perfect for a first alpha.Maybe #54805 or #132855 would be a good start for you. |
