oh! also more important than the other one of my best friend's birthday is in about a month (so the sooner the better). Could you make me something related to artistic gymnastics? (This reply is gonna be a little long, so just a heads up, lol!)Hi @skytech, One thing you can do, if you wish, is you could just tie the inner most strings (the 22 middle strings) and leave out the outer ones, and upload a photo of your creation to that pattern, and that could technically give you a mini version of it 🙂 That smaller version was actually the very first version of the pattern I had made, but I widened it, as I thought it made it more special that way 🙂 The really interesting thing about normal patterns is that the larger they are, the more detail they can have 🙂 The smaller a normal pattern is, the less detail it can contain. I really like that pattern, too! One thing about my patterns is I try to make them as different from one another as possible - to me, they feel more special to me that way; at least, that's how I look at it. I often make many versions of a similar thing in my personal drafts, then carefully choose the one I think people will enjoy the most (and the one I enjoy the most) At the moment, I'm having a little bit of a difficult time choosing what pattern should be uploaded next. Maybeee I'll attempt to make a smaller version of that pattern, but a forewarning, it's still going to look completely different 😅 I plan to hopefully upload a few smaller designs in the nearish future as well 🙂 (and definitely more sandglass ones too!) May I suggest a few of my smaller hourglass-ish (sorta) patterns I've made in the past? Such as #160119, #119595, or #87859? Or perhaps even #103397 or #83364? Or - you coulddd rise to the challenge and attempt to tie that pattern in its full size yourself! I don't know if I'd recommend it just yet though, as it's definitely more of an intermediate pattern to tie, but at the same time, one of my earliest bracelets was quite thick, too! I'm very flattered that you like my pattern so much @skytech 😄 I spent a lot of extra time on that one, and I was so happy to share it on the site! And lastly, I just want to reiterate - I just want to note that I don't give other people permission to resubmit a cropped or modified version of my patterns. However, of course, you're welcome to alter them while tying your bracelet to your liking 🙂 or you can ask me to try and alter something for you by messaging me 🙂 |
