I saw this bracelet pack on etsy and could not find a pattern for the lattice type bracelet they made here. I've made similar ones using a zigzag candy stripe but if you look at the picture, their's is a different kind of a knot and I can't tell what it is. It seems like too complicated of a pattern for a simple written pattern so it might need a video tutorial or at least photos. Please let me know if you have any insight. (Also a disclaimer that this is not intentioned to like rip off the artist or anything I just really like the pattern for one of the bracelets and want to make one) https://www.etsy.com/listing/913094695/lesbian-pride-friendship-bracelets?show_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details |

I think there are only regular knots used. If you look at the tutorial that @aiden707 linked, in step 7 you can see that the connecting knot in the middle looks somewhat odd. Is that what you mean? The user seems to be alternating between bf and fb knots. You can tell by the colours of the knots. All the other knots are forward or backward knots. I think there are three strings used per colour. I think your first intuition that it is like the zig zag candystripe is absolutely correct. I think pattern #74845 would be a good pattern to post a photo to if you ended up making it. That is the pattern from the linked tutorial. The difference would be that you use a different amount of string per segment and also have more segments (5 instead of 2) but that's completely legit. |

oh interesting...thank you both so much. I'm going to try it out and see what happens-- might try to connect them instead of interlocking though.
