i’ve been struggling to take photos of my bracelets for my shop, even though i use natural lighting and a solid background, it always comes out with the knots looking distinct (not sure how to word it but it doesn’t look smooth like in person) any tips to fix this?

You can try editing in photos, turning down shadows and contrast could help. Adding brilliance and saturation can also make your bracelets look better. Just make sure not to overdo it!

If your natural lighting is full sun, you might want to try in shade or on an overcast day. The sun can reflect from each knot in a way that makes them look more prominent

You could try using a lightbox if you haven't already or other light sources as sunlight isn't always totally reliable! I like taking on photos on a bright background, even something just as simple as a plain piece of paper can be really effective and will help to contrast the bracelet hopefully making the knots more distinct. You can also do really simple things like adjusting the resolution on the camera so it's clearer or add filters!!
