i’ve been making bracelet and keychains and everything for a while now, and i feel like i’m ready to start selling my creations to people. i had a few questions if anyone wants to take the time to help me out.

what do you sell? i’ve been kinda in the zone and making a bunch of the octopus patterns from @lilpiggy11, and i want to sell those. they would be made to order and everything so each one is personalized. im not sure what else i would want to make a bunch of to sell online, i get bored of patterns really quickly.

where do you sell? i’ve been looking into etsy to sell online, and i was wondering if anyone else sells on etsy or on another platform.

shipping? what do you use to ship your creations to people? i’ve seen you can get free boxes on USPS, but they’re all pretty big for just a small bracelet or two

packaging? how do you package your creations? i’ve seen bracelets being sent on a nice little card with the company name, but what do you do for keychains? do you put everything in bags? i don’t want to spend a lot of $$ buying stuff for packaging, then never sell

i think that’s all the questions i have right now

@leviOsa_09 I have sold a couple of them but primarily at some craft markets alongside some plushies I like to crochet. I highly recommend scrolling on Etsy and seeing how others market their bracelets as I think it’s one of the main ways people sell their finished bracelets/keychains. There’s also ways people can choose customizations on there in the selling platform. As for packaging since bracelets/keychains are so small I recommend using basic envelopes rather than whole boxes as boxes are usually too big most of the time. This should also lower any shipping costs as well and have you spend less on packaging. Also in envelopes you can still fit a nice card or handmade note for the buyers! I hope this helps!!

Additionally I recommend starting some social media accounts (tiktok or Instagram) to promote your stuff!

Hi! So I've sold both bracelets and keychains 3 differents ways. The first one is selling online on sites like mercari and poshmark. I've sold a few bracelets and keychains on those sites but it has been pretty slow lately. I've never tried esty. The second way has been on Facebook. I made a page for my bracelets and keychains and like to post on the marketplace and on local community pages. The third is vendor events. Try to inform yourself on vendor events that happen where you live. I found out though a simple google search and from Facebook. As for shipping WalMart sells small padded bubble mailers that are perfect size for bracelets and keychains. They're located in the office section. For packaging I'm going to leave some Amazon links of bracelet and keychain display cards that comes with plastic bags.
