I want to make a lanyard (normal pattern) but I don’t know how I should start it. Or how to attach it to the hook thingy, or how much string I will need. Do I just cut lengths and add it as needed or do I just attach the whole skins like with alphas?

I would use a larks head knot and add string as I needed it

For something this long, I would just leave the strings on the skein and cut them in the end.Regarding attaching them to the hook, maybe you can sew them the same way fabric lanyards are attached to the hook. |

Does anyone have any good pattern suggestions? Not too simple or I’ll get bored but not too complicated either. I need the perfect in-between.
