So I got wooden dowles from Amazon but they're too thick I want not too skinny but skinny what do u guys use?

I would recommend figuring out the diameter you want and then looking specifically for that diameter.

I use bamboo skewers (the kind for grilling food). They are perfectly thin enough for me to do a larks head knot for bad strings. I snap off the pointy “skewer” end for safety bc they are sharp. Bamboo skewers also come in a huge pack so probably cheaper than crafting dowels if you’re calculating per unit.

There are packs on Amazon/online on other sites that you can buy with assorted sizes so you can try out the different sizes
