I usually get embroidery floss from Joann’s fabric and crafts or hobby lobby. Joann’s has prism and dmc and hobby lobby has iris and dmc. I usually get dmc but sometimes another brand.

dmc thread is really nice, it’s more on the expensive side, but it’s worth it. the thread is silky and doesn’t ball up or knot it’s self for cheaper thread you can buy thread in bulk on amazon for a really good price

I agree with idziellie. Dmc is definitely the best!! But if you’re looking for a cheaper option loops and threads or iris are awesome too!

I would recommend buying the value packs of Craft Cord by Loops and Threads. You can get it from Micheals. It’s strong and twisted like DMC cotton pearl but it’s cheaper.

Dmc cotton embroidery floss. This is the brand I use and it’s so soft and easy to work with. You can get at hobby lobby for 50 cents.

In my experience Loops & Threads is actually pretty good quality. It’s not as soft as DMC, but I actually find it easier to work with because of that
