When designing an alpha pattern for a picture, do you prefer typing it out or using the ‘draw alpha’ Function?

I use the option to select “alpha from image” and then use the “draw alpha” function to tweak it

Definitely draw. You can see a lot better what you're doing if you do that and you can also fill in areas with one colour or create lines with just one click.If I needed to remove a row somewhere in the middle of the pattern I'd of course write that but for anything else drawing is just so much faster. |

I use alpha crime image and draw alpha to make sure it looks neat

you switch between colors by clicking on them and change pixels by clicking each one!

@talamer the “draw alpha” function is pretty good at that, i just use it alone or doodle on graph paper... i don’t know if any apps though
