I want to create a normal pattern but everytime I try it looks weird and I can't seem to be able to make something that makes sense it always looks like a colored mess. Any tips?

With the built in bracletbook alpha maker, you have to do a lot of editing to make it look right.I usually use a website called flosscross. It's free to use and does not require making an account. It's made specifically for cross stitch patterns, but also works for alpha patterns. You can upload the picture you want to make a pattern from, choose how large you want it, how many colors, and then make it. Once you made the pattern you can edit it in the website. The best thing that it has is the ability to see the picture on the canvas and trace over it (like a lightboard). The only downside to it is that the colors are limited only DMC/Anchor floss, so its not as limited. Good Luck! |

@silentgirl does it do it for normals too or just alphas? Because I'm okay for alphas it's really the normal ones I struggle with

Start of with a two-coloured pattern (colours order abbaabba) and only f and b knots. It's difficult to create a pattern that looks uneven that way.
