1212 with more than 2 colours?

how exactly would you do that? I want to make a 1212 of salad finger' head/face and there are about 3 colours, how exactly would someone do that?

Try making a sketch using graph paper or "draw alpha" in the alpha pattern generator. Make sure that each diagonal only uses two colours.More than two colours per diagonal is possible too, but then you need to move strings to the place they need to be using f and b knots and that's not always possible without the string becoming visible where it isn't supposed to. |
