It seems pretty self intuitive, besides the generate alpha from picture tool, do you manually design patterns as well? How so? Any tips? ❤️

Yes, normal patterns need to be designed manually. Something like "normal from image" doesn't exist. You can use a piece of graph paper rotated 45° to make a sketch. Then you try to figure out how the strings would need to move to make it possible as a normal pattern. Not every design is possible as a normal pattern, because strings need to move to the place where they make the knot. Sometimes it is impossible to move a string in a hidden way or at all. A way to "draw" normal patterns would be to create a 1212 pattern consisting of only two colours. The strings alternate so that any knot could have either of the two colours. This way you can make any two colour design without limitations. |

@bolty I suggest you use floss cross, it'll be much easier to import it into bracelet book, all you have to do is just import the picture of the lion, choose your desired length and width and it'll show you how pixelate it can be, from little pixelate ( poor quality) to very pixelate ( higher quality ) and depending the width and length you can make it easier for you

@bolty you can also use "alpha from image" in the braceletbook generatorhttps://www.braceletbook.com/create/ |
