Trying to turn pixel art into alpha pattern

I've made some pixel art in an art program, and I'm trying to turn it into an alpha pattern. Whenever I import the image into the generator using the "alpha from image" tab, even when I set the exact dimensions and colors I used, it turns out warped and inaccurate. (I've tried setting the dimensions to be 1 larger than the art, ticking and unticking the "preserve hard edges" "trim image" boxes, and resizing the pixel art.)I can use the "alpha" tab and manually write in each row, but that would take a very long time. Is there a faster way to do this? The pixel art I'm using is in my profile picture. |

I tried importing it with "preserve hard edges" ticked, but no "trim image" (max colors 8, max width 62), and it wasn't too bad.It turned out a little weirdly-colored as it often does, but the general silhouette and outline is accurate. It would be much quicker to tweak it from there than to redraw it. |

The fastest way to do it is to download your pixel art with the lowest solution possible (one pixel is actually just one pixel and not multiple).If you do that, you can just crank the colours and size all the way to the top and it will work whether you use preserve sharp edges or not. You just have to make sure to uncheck "trim image". |
