how do you make two sections that originally have different colors to be the same color? the warning says (a=b) but doesnt explain what it means or how to do it. also, can you add a new color in a variation, and make part of a segment into the new color? and finally is it the same or different between alpha and normal patterns?

Alpha and normal variations are a bit different from each other.-Alpha patterns cannot add or remove existing colors, where as normal patterns you can add/remove colors for existing strings. To make two colors the same for normal patterns, you can make the hex/color code in the little boxes on the first page exactly the same, go to the 'Draw' page and simply save (you don't need to do anything else). Then go back to the first page and the colors will have merged. OR go to the 'Draw' page and select the same color for all the strings you want to be that color, click on each string and save. The warning a=b means that the colors are too similar. You either need to make them more different from each other or make them the same. |
