I've just now gotten down how to make "no knot" (0 in the text wall, right clicking in the 'Draw Alpha') For Shaped Alpha's

I know there F. B. FB. and BF, but i'm unsure on how to put those into the 'alpha' text wall?
It's just colors, and I know how to input 0 for no knot, but how do I input the others?

I want to add FB, and BF (respectively) on the edges for a Straight-edge alpha technique I can follow on the actual pattern.

Simple answer is you can't, but since it's always on the edge you should be able to know when to do the fb and bf 🙂

In the alpha pattern generator, there is no differentiation between different types of knots. You can only determine, which colour you want the knot to be and if you want there to be a knot or not. That's all.

In the knotting instruction, there are forward knots and backward knots shown, but the knotting instruction is only meant as a support. You do not have to use it to tie the pattern.

Thank you! I saw it on other patterns, but didn't realize it was not for alphas. 🫶
