Hi there,
I hope someone of you can help me because my brain is getting 🤯 🤯 🙈. It is the first time I am trying the pattern generator as I did my first "own" bracelet 😊 however I am adding 5 colors for 10 strings the generator puts out 11 strings and I can't delete the last string. When I change the colors order and remove the last one go on save it always appears again. I am looking forward too get some help as I am new in generating patterns 🙂
Thank you all very much and stay healthy in this time! ❤️

Your code on the first line may have an extra knot which generates an extra string? I recommend checking the first row to make sure you have 5 knots.

@KrazyKnotz, thank you for you fast reply. I only have five knots and I only have five colors mentioned. However it still shows me strings:11 and colors order edcbaabcdea. I am unable to delete the last a and don’t know why

Your issue seems to be in the second row. Your second row only needs 4 knots, not 5. If you've written 5 knots for the second row, the generator adds an extra string so the knot structure is still correct.

In a normal pattern with an even amount of strings the first row needs half the amount of knots and the second row half minus one of the amount.

Only if you have an uneven amount of strings the number of knots is the same in each row. Then it's always the (amount of strings minus one) divided by two.
