Leather cording with embroidery thread

So i have made bracelets in the past using brown or black leather cording …no thicker than 1/4 inch or so…plus 3 or 4 strands of colored embroidery thread. The cording stays as the base of the bracelet, then I do a foward/backward knot together with the first color. I cut about 18-24 in of leather and fold in half along with the colors of thread folded and tied in a knot leaving a loop at top. I think most of you guys know these steps, so Im gonna go ahead and recommend to anyone who feels clueless right now that you read through the forums, tutorials and patterns on this site. There is much info I am only doing one pattern with these supplies and even tho I’ve searched this site for “ how to Make a Friendship bracelet, using leather, cording, and different colors of embroidery thread “ . Google has not been very helpful either, so I thought I would ask everyone here if they know any other patterns. If so, let’s see them!!!! |

Could you maybe set one of your bracelets as your profile picture or put a link to a picture in the forum. I'm currently having a difficult time imagining what your bracelets look like.

I had to create a new profile, but I’m the same person who inquired about the Martha Stewart video. I changed my avatar to a picture of the pattern I’m working on now. I’m a little out of practice with it so it’s not the best quality, but it’ll get better…thanks for your help
