what is wrong with my normal pattern?

I am trying to make a normal pattern but i cant get it to repeat properly. all of my string colors at the top are in the correct order at the bottom, so i don't understand why there is an error. i wish i could post a picture. can anyone help?

So the strings at the top and at the bottom are in the same order, but the pattern still doesn't repeat? Then the strings probably aren't in the same order 😉Is there an automated warning on top? It should tell you, if that is the case. If you want to, you can dm me your current knotting structure and the string order at the beginning of the pattern, so I can put it into the generator and take a look at it. |

@Estabraq11 my recommendation would be to add one more string to the pattern. At the moment you have only four green strings, but five pink strings. In order to not have the pink line in the green part, you need at least five green strings.

@Estabraq11 then I have another suggestion. You seem to have based your pattern on pattern #19601. That pattern uses a dark purple outline. If you do that outline too, you should be able to use different colours for the rest of the background on the left and the right 🙂
