Add numbers to edge of code section

Would be nice to have numbers down the side of the code writing field when generating patterns so you can tell what row you are on. Theres numbers on the generated image part, but not the code box so I have to count the rows. Would save a lot of time having numbers to the side there.

omg I wish that all the time! I found it helps a little to group the lines of code by 5's and separate with a double space. So if I lose my place, instead of counting each single row, I can skip by 5. Like this for a 12 line code: fff ff fff ff fff ff bbb bb bbb bb bbb bb The spaces don't affect the pattern at all and disappear after testing. So you have to count and separate again each time you test. It's kind of a hassle no matter what, but it does help when it comes to really long patterns. Once I know the end of the repetition, I just copy/paste the rest until bottom strings match. I would LOVE if numbered lines were built in somehow!!! @pattncraft @halokiwi @BeadGirl16 |
