The alpha generator says that black is too dark to be used for patterns, but the pattern I'm designing is a logo, and needs the color black. What should I do?

Using a dark grey as flower12 suggested works fine with patterns, just remember while picking out strings that the color you want is black, not grey. 🙂

Colors of the pattern aren't really a big deal, as you can change them as you actually make the pattern. I always use dark gray instead of black!

Yeah we all had that problem too xD they could do something about it in my opinion, just adding a white line between the black (or dark color) knots would help a bit

I use a darker purple. You can hardly tell the difference!

I don't understand this requirement either. I've used 383232 to replace black

I recommend 333333. It is the darkest black we accept. We don't accept dark black because it is hard to see the individual knots of the pattern.
