why did my pattern get declined?

So I made this pattern of this painting called the scream and it got declined, it said that my pattern looked distorted and uneven and I get that because I agree that the face wasn’t great, but I don’t understand what part they meant. I set my pfp as a picture of the pattern, can someone tell me what part you think looks distorted and uneven?

i think it looks beautiful the way it is! i would say that you may want to tweak the sky and the water a little bit, so that the sky and the water are more recognizable, but i think the painting is supposed to look that way. but my suggestion is that you may want to private message the moderator who declined it. they should be able to give you some suggestions on how to improve it. hope that helps! 🙂

@arf820 omg I didn’t even realize that the blue was water! 😂 when I was looking at the painting I thought the blue was just more sky but now I see it! Thanks I think I’m gonna fix the water and maybe change the bridge and then submit it again and if it gets declined I’ll message the moderator!
