how to use very different colors in a pattern

What if I want to use a different color scheme in a pattern, but it isn’t listed as a variation? It seems really confusing to try to follow a pattern with drastically different colors.

you could try to make a variation yourself to then follow or ask for help on the forum so someone can help you. Other than that there isnt much you can do. With time and practice you should be able to make them with the colours you want without a variation to follow

making a variation yourself would work, i have had the same problem before but have gotten better at it now because i don’t segment knot, i just follow the pattern row by row. i’ve also read that when you create a variation for a pattern, the one you’ve created will show up when you pull the pattern up 🎠💌🎡🍓
