Hey! I am about to make a Chinese staircase, but I want it to be a necklace/choker. Do you know how long I should make the strings? Thank you so much!!! |

Depending on how small your neck is I would make them any where from 70-90 inches (before you fold them in half). I’ve never made a necklace out of string before but just guessing I feel like that would be enough. I think Megan Morris has a video on how to calculate strings length with an actual formula so you could check that out as well.

I would measure your own neck and how long it would wrap around, since it is an alpha it should be easy to measure.

I usually do my wingspan! Sometimes I double it, which I would for a necklace (:
