Hey everyone! I'm trying to make something really cool right now and I need some help...Basically, I need to turn a small rectangle of scotch tape into a bracelet. Its probably like 1mm thin and about 1-1.5cm long and 0.75-1cm wide. I wish I could just take a picture and post it haha. Anyways, I figured I could essentially wrap friendship practice string around the actual tape part, then maybe braid the rest, but I'm not too sure how to transition between the wrapping of the scotch tape and the braid. If anyone has any ideas or could point me to tutorials that would be awesome! Also I am wondering if anyone knows any really good and strong adjustable notes to do? Thank you so much guys! |

maybe instead of wrapping yiu could do forward knots around the tape (like a chinese staircase) thrn somehow transition to knotting around a few threads that you could then braid, or maybe if you include the threads with the tape when it’s wrapped so you could just keep wrapping? this seems intriguing - why are you trying to turn tape into a bracelet? does it need to be visible?

also yoy can set a picture of the tape as your profile pic temporarily so others can see it!
