I'm on the last row of a keychain and trying to do the flat end method, where you double up the base strings in second and third to last rows to make a loop and then pull it tight after knotting the last row. My problem is that on the second and third to last rows, I tied my knots so tight that the base string won't budge. I've tried bending and scrunching the piece to try and soften up the knots, but that hasn't done much of anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated <3

I think your best bet is to untie those last two rows and re-tie them looser. Just use a safety pin to untie the knots and redo them, hope this helps you :3

@str6yk1ds I can't do that because I've already cut some of the strings

Maybe try loosening the knots with a safety pin but don’t untie them? Maybe that’ll work

I use a hook needle threader, it’s basically just a tiny hook that you can use to hook onto one of the strings and loosen it.
