Hey there! I’m looking for advice on how to add a string to my mini-wallhanging to hang it by, I’ve seen some that appear to have 2 larks head knots attaching the string to the dowel? I’ve never done this before, so any tips help! |

I would probably use a clove hitch knot (it's hard to explain in words, but google gives some good diagrams) or just looping the string over and tying it to itself - I don't think that a lark's head knot would work as you are using an end of the string, rather than the middle. I think clove hitch can give a similar look especially if you trim the end of the thread pretty close to the dowel.
