Hi quick question:I have just seen a thread burner advertised and wondered if anyone has experience in cauterising the finial knot with a thread zapper? I currently finish my work and add superglue to hold the last knot. This does mis colour some thread so if this holds the knot together its worth trying. Thank you. Roya |

It depends on the material you use. Some melt, others just burn.

Aw that makes sense thank you. I guess you can only know what each thread does if you try it near a heat gun or something. I shall investigate my two main thread types, thank you.
