So I made an alpha pattern with someones name on it attached to a keychain but I'm not sure how to end it. I dont particularly like doing triangle ends and I dont think I have enough string on the bobbin, plus I accidentally lost of the color number sooooo if I run out I cant get more. Any ideas for endings? I'm trying to find something that is more than just tying the base strings together with another string, but I will as a last resort🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

I did little bows made of bracelet string, I separate the remaining string at the end in half and tie little bows on both sides

Kinsey b has a video on making alpha keychains, timestamp for making the ending is 7:45https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/4382048381/cow-cross-stitch-pattern-bookmark-bundle This is usually how I do mine and they turn out quite nice I think (: |

if the remaining length of string is long enough, then you can make a twisted tie, or braid it 🙂 hope it helped

i like ending it straight, cutting the leading strings to match my base strains, then tying a simple knot for every 3-4 base strains, counting the leading strings in here. typically i count up how many strings i have, then divide it by a number to get an even number. ex: i just finished one that had 10 base strings, plus 4 finished leading strings. 14/2 is 7, so i had 7 knots of 2 base strings each. my most recent photo is that keychain if you want to check it out!!
