hi!! i made a teardrop loop for a normal bracelet with plans to attach a button at the end but i finished the loop and realised it’s wayyy too big for the button! probably because the last time i tried to do a button the loop was too small. does anyone have any tips for a) how to estimate the size of a teardrop loop to make it the right size for my button and b) how to fix or what to do with my oversized loop bracelet? ideally i want to use it for sometjing because i like the pattern and don’t want to waste the string but the loop is too big 😢 thank you!!!

you may have to use a bigger button for the big loop, or use ties instead of a button altogether. In the future, the inside of the teardrop loop should be slightly larger than the diameter of the button so that it takes some effort to slide the button through, and fit snugly, but not be impossible for the button to go through the loop
