I’m currently working on a normal bracelet (greek wave, #5608) and my edges look awful. I get these little inward bumps: ) ( ) ( ) ( Do you guys have any tips to prevent this? |

One of my bestsellers, and a personal favorite to drum up when I've only got two colors to work with. When it comes time to make those knots on the edge, in addition to always watching the tension carefully (and tugging the finished knot outwardly on both the right and the left side so it doesn't start getting gradually sucked towards the center--trust your own eyes; they'll let you know when that new knot is squarely under the one above), I'm going to have to dare you to express some rebel spirit: When the instructions tell you to make those backwards knots on the edge, you defiantly make them forward knots instead. I don't wanna dwell on the exact number of these I must've made over the years, but experience has taught me that's one of the tricks to keeping this particular pattern on the straight and narrow. 👍 Making the avatar a couple of these bad boys temporarily, just to hopefully convince you that I do practice what I preach (and it works). |
