how to "end" the sliding knot

hi, i usually make a sliding knot to tie my bracelets (idk how this knot is called but it's the same that is used to make macramé bracelets) but to end it i put super glue on it and it reaches the braids and make it impossible to slide. do you have a solution to end this knot instead of glue ?

square knot? i’ve only done it on bracelets a couple times, but i just tied the two ends of the string together in a double knot on the ‘back’ and cut the strings close, and that seemed to work pretty well. theres a couple tutorials here as well!
