bracelets with 5 strings

Hey guys, so today i tried to make some bracelets with only 5 strings but they all looked super wonky, weird and just not straightSo now i’ve been wondering why. Is it because of the knot tension? Are my knots too loose/ tight? Am i just not skilled enough😔 |

Hey there! Your knot tension could’ve been wonky. (Ex your forwards knots were tighter than your backwards knots) You could’ve been knotting at an angle too. (Ex you had the bracelet on your water bottle and part of the bracelet wasn’t facing you.) It’s not that your are not skilled enough, bracelet making takes lots of practice. Sometimes for me thinner bracelets get wonky and my thicker bracelets look better overall. Have you tried that? Let me know if you have any questions!!

I have made thicker bracelets before and I would say they look good, so I’m only stringing with bracelets with 5 strings(I have two up on my profile). My thinner bracelets just look like they have no structure, maybe it was because they weren’t facing me the entire time. Thank u for the reply @rz I guess I have to try again!
