Hi ok so I was scrolling looking in patterns and I found #188046 which is super adorable but do you think it’s too long for a bookmark? also what is a good length for a bookmark? Thank you! |

I think it's good actually, i'm working on a bookmark that is 99 knots long, and extrapolating from what i've done, it'll be about 17 cm long, which is smaller than a book so it's good in my book 😉

I think anything can work as a bookmark as long as it's shorter than the book you put it in. You could stack 2 alpha bracelets that you've already made on top of each other to see what 98 rows would look likeYou could also mix and match with #188047 or #188278 if you need it to be shorter |

You could just not make a couple of blank rows and cut those out to make it shorter, or vice versa you could add blank rows if you want it longer. Hope this helps!

I would measure how many rows from your alpha bracelets make 1 cm. For me, 5 alpha rows= 1cm, that means that a bracelet I make with 100 rows would be 20 cm long! This always helps me determine which patterns would work best for bookmarks, bracelets, or keychains (:
