Help With Alpha Edges

Hi! Since I’ve been making alpha patterns, I’ve noticed when there is a color switch close to the edge of the bracelet (like one knot from the edge) the string sticks out because I use the flat alpha technique. It seems like it’s not a problem, but when I try to use it in the pattern again, it sort of sticks out and it really irritates me. Please help me. Thank you!
