Starting Alpha Bracelets

I’m intermediate at making bracelets and want to start making alpha bracelets and I know all the knots and stuff but I’m confused on how to start them. The pattern just kind of starts and like I usually just tie a loop for regular patterns so I’m confused please help!!

The way you start an alpha depends on whether it’s a wallhanging or bracelet. If you’re doing a bracelet I recommend doing the triangle start but if it’s a wallhanging ppl usually make them on a wooden dowel. What happens to the loose strings on the back? And what happens if you have trouble repeating the pattern? Please help! I've never done an alpha pattern before! All help needed 😭
