Are your doing alphas or normals?Make sure while tying they are secured well so that they can't move all over the place. In the beginning knots are often uneven, but this will get better over time For alphas: use the flat alpha technique and tie looser than you think you need to For normals: some patterns like the candystripe have a tendency to curve in one direction |

Normals!! They get bumpy specially when i do like diamon sorta things, or this > shape, anything similar to a triangle, they always end up bumpy and i've tried yo make them non-bumpy but they always end up like that

I believe Masha Knots has a video on YouTube about bracelets curling but I could be wrong, there are definitely videos from multiple different YouTubers you can watch. Either way Masha Knots is a great creator to learn from and get tips. I also recommend AlexInnovations videos

When making alphas I’m using the flat Alpha Color change technique and went I try to pull it apart the bracelet does not appear stretched out so I’m pretty sure I’m doing the technique correctly but you can still feel where certain things are on the bracelet and they appear like sort of puffed up please help 😭

I find that there are a few things that affect the bumpiness of a bracelet, if you are using an alpha pattern I highly recommend checking out the flat alpha technique and straight edges technique.

If it is a normal pattern there is also a straight edges technique but it involves extra base strings. Primarily I find that different brands of string have different thicknesses so if you use different brands it will likely be bumpy as well.

The last factor is time. The more you make, the better you get. Some of my first ever patterns ended up being bumpy, bendy, and weird. But through time and practice you will gain more knowledge about keeping your knots even and tying with the same strength
