how do i know how many strings of each colour i need to use when making alphas? or is it only one string for each colour

So you will have a base which is the amount of strings on the top right Conner. The rest you will need one string.

For base strings you need one less than the pattern says for strings.And for the colors you can use as many as you want. Hope this helps! Happy knotting! |

Yes, you can use one and cut it the length depending on how much the color is used
