I have one and I don’t really like it. 🤣 At least the one I got does not work. It would not stay clamped to my bobbin box and it was kind’ve awkward to wind it. It also wouldn’t securely hold my bobbin. I thought it was much faster to just wind it by hand. My dad cut out a little square of wood, hollowed out a crevice that fits a bobbin, and glued a dowel to the bottom of the square. The dowel then goes into a power drill and you can put a bobbin into the crevice. It sounds pretty excessive but I don’t know how I lived without it. 😂 If you have access to those things I recommend trying it. 😊

I don’t recommend floss winders because I bought one and it was really bad, I can wind floss by hand in half the time.

Actually, I have that to exact one. I honestly don’t think it worth it because it takes just as much effort to turn the handle and wind it as just doing it normally in your hands. It also takes forever to make sure that the string is even and looks good, it also squeaks and is very annoying haha. But, I’ve also heard some people love theirs! So, I think each person has a different opinion, but in my experience it was not worth the money. 😁

I saw a video by Masha Knots the other day (maybe the one about her enormous string collection?) and there she mentioned a video that she made a year before and back then she organised a lot of her strings on bobbins. She even showed how it was done with a winder and she says that she never ever again will do that because it's just so much work and, yes, it looks really nice, but it's not worth it.
