Hi I am fairly new to making alphas and I've noticed in most pictures people use some sort of stick at the top. I really like the look of these but not sure where to find these. If any of you use them please let me know where you get them or what they are called! Thanks <3

My mom has kebab sticks that I take for my wall hangings! I don't know where she gets them from, probably walmart lol 🙈

sticks are defiantly easier to manage, but you can buy like a whole spool of steal wire from the the hardware store. sometimes it's a little hard to keep flat, but its also cheaper and takes up less space n

I use wooden dowels and trim them down a bit then sand the edges to make sure they are smooth, then I use larks head knots to tie on my base strings.

@pinkghosts I use Wooden Skewers because it’s a random thing that you can probably find around your house. I cut mine and leave about half an inch of excess on each side of the keychain for where it would go
