Hi! So I am making my first alpha (using flat, and straight edges technique) and i have a spot, where I do 3 of one colour, then one of another, then the last knot of the row is a different colour. According to Masha knots’ tutorial, when changing colour on the last string, i should weave the colour im changing to over the previous leading string, but i can’t do that, because i have already threaded it THROUGH the previous knot, so it is already on the side i need it to be, should i just make the forward backward knot that i need to make, or do i need to weave the other leading string in somehow?sorry that this doesn’t make any sense, but yeah. if you don’t want to explain it, you could link a youtube video to help? thank you so much. |

Hey what pattern are you using maybe I can help you more that way but the color changing at the enge is usually a colour change where you do not weave in between of to strings but just push the old string into the back. If it isn't the first knot with that colour just make 1bf/FB knot and then another bf/ FB knot

ok what you will have to do is to take the withe string gi e it between our hoding strings then take the green one make an x and then make a green forwardbackward and then a green backward forward knot. If this is not explained well enought then you can watch mashas video at minute 18:30 but it is important to know that you will have to weave the string in every time that you make a colour change
