What’s the best glitter/metallic/sparkly thread to use ? All the ones I’ve tried so far have either been to thin ( double up would make it to fat ) or the thread has been to stiff. I looked at DMC thread but it’s to expensive to buy over in England, same with Anchor. What threads do you use ? thanks.

So I don't know where you looked at the glitter thread however, if you were to purchase DMC etoile from Lovecrafts, it's £1.10 compared to £1.55 directly from DMC and £1.50 from Hobbycraft. It's not that much cheaper but it is good quality and 45p savings isn't too bad if you are planning on buying multiple skeins. I don't really know of any other places that sells thread other than Amazon, however the quality can be a bit hit or miss.

It’s still to expensive just paying that amount for one skein, usually I buy packs from Ebay and Amazon, I will have to leave it for now and look into more once it’s fully safe to go shops and stuff. Thanks for help anyway.
