Hi guys! So I have an issue: one side of my chevron (and other mirrored patterns) is always higher(?) and has a different angle than the other one. Any advice?

Sometimes if you’re knot tension isn’t the same it can make the bracelet a little bit wonky. So try to make you’re forward knots and backward knots the same tension and that should help!

I would say just keep practicing. If the knots are uneven it is most likely because you are tying the knots at different tightness levels. Maybe try working on a candy stripe using the knots you are not as good at, then maybe they will come out the same after you have gotten better at the knots.

With a chevron, normally people use different hands for the different knots. on the side you're having the droop on, take a little extra time to make sure that the knots are nice and tight, and that they lay like they're suppose to. If the knot is done incorrectly, it can cause the whole bracelet to mess up. You should try to dedicate a bracelet with colors you have that you don't like (I get mine in kits, especially when my family gets them for me so I always have an abundance of string i don't use) and practice on that, so you're not wasting any of your favorite string
You can also take your scrap thread and use that if the pieces are long enough
