Weird looking alpha bracelet knots

I'm not sure how to describe it. I have a photo on my profile and another will hopefully be approved soon, but I think you can tell there's something wrong with the shape of the knots, they make the design look elongated and kind of weird. I'm looking at other people's, but all of their knots are round and make the design look cleaner. I'm trying to figure out if I'm tying too tightly, if there's an issue with the color switching, or if practice just makes perfect since I've only made two, but I would really appreciate some help if any of you have faced something similar. Thank you!

hi! I think your bracelet looks good still (: do you know of the flat alpha and straight edge technique? if not,I have a tutorial I posted on here and on my YouTube and I would also recommend watching MashaKnots on YouTube and she has a really in depth tutorial on how to make your alphas neater! |

Practise will definitely help, you could also experiment with slightly thicker base strings which will physically force your knots to be wider too.
