how does your rank go up, and how many ranks are there?

i’m fairly new to bracelet book, however i understand most functions on this app. but, i have really never understand the rank function !

You increase rank by being active. Posting in the Forums, comments on patterns, rating patterns, submitting photos, patterns, and variations. When you increase rank, you are able to make more patterns/variations per day (you can only see variations on the site, not the app).You can also earn 'reward' points (the number next to your profile photo) from [OFFICIAL] Challenges posted in the Challenges forum.
