Hello there! Here’s an idea: having dates on photos, the same way there are dates on comments and forum posts and such.I find myself often wondering when a photo was posted, and since the comments have dates, why shouldn’t the photos?🤔 I might be the only one who cares tho, so I appreciate the time you took to read this, thank u! 😊 |

Yes! This is a great idea. I think the reason photos aren’t dated are because it doesn’t quite as much matter as a forum post, where the relevancy of the topic is important to people reading it. But it would be to have!

There is actually a way to find out when an image was posted. Right-click on the photo, choose "open image in new tab", go to the new tab and right-click on the photo once again, choose "view element code" or whatever it's called, it should be the last option. Then go to the "network" tab, press Ctrl + R, click on "image.jpg" and look at "Response Headers". You should see "date: ---" (this is just the date when you opened the photo) and "last modified: ---": this is the actual date when the image was posted.
