A way to count how many knots there are of a specific color

It would be nice to have a feature that tells you how many knots each color will have to tie. I like to count the knots to calculate approximately how much string I will need, but I find that a very time consuming. I imagine this sort of thing would also be helpful for people who use patterns for beading and need to know how much to have on hand.
