I love DMC but I can't ever find it in the large bundles anymore, but I basically buy the bundle packs of like 150 from michaels it's Loops and Threads or something like that.

@03Louise yarn works, but it doesn't hold and the patterns come out larger (since yarn is waaaay thicker)

I got a box of my Mom's old DMC floss a few years ago, then received loops and thread last x-mas. Recently, though, I've been just getting string from my local dollarama because I really can't afford better string :/

I'm not 100% sure but someone told me once that Walmart has DMC so maybe look there? I've bought the loops and threads as well and it's pretty good 🙂

Walmart does sell dmc but it comes in seprate skeins you might be able to find prisim tho its made by the same company but i use either j&p coats or loops and threads

I bought a bundle from ebay for £8 (don't know what that is in dollars) with 100 skeins. There were some bad colours but loads of nice colours as well.
