I can't get my knots straight in a line

Make sure you tie your knots right up against the row above. If that doesn't work and they still aren't straight I usually push the knots up the strings until they're straight. Hope this helps! Also, sometimes it just takes practice. When I first started making bracelets a LONG time ago my knots weren't straight either but now they're always straight. Just keep working at it!
