Hello! I am creating an alpha bracelet using the straight edges technique. I just did a row going from left to right, and did a forward/backward knot on the right most background string. I now have to add a new color to start the row going from right to left. I tried doing a forward/backward knot and used the color change method from Masha Knot’s YouTube video, but the previous color is still showing through. What should I do to do a color change on the first string of a new row while still following the straight edge technique? Any help of very much appreciated! Thank you😊

Sorry,I wish I could help, but I'm glad you asked this, because if I have any patters with a color change on the end it always does that 🤔 I hope someone has the answer. 😉

Usually, when I have a color change on the end, and it’s positioned so that it would show through the edge, I usually just don’t use the technique for that change. I’ll just drag it to where the knot is supposed to be, and just don’t use the flat alpha technique. Hope this helps!
