thick bracelets

so i usually stick to 8-12 string bracelets but my 12 string bracelets always come out very thick (like the thickness of a 16 string). do i need to tie my knots tighter? any tips on how to prevent this would be appreciated : )

Tying your knots tighter helps but also the string you use might be on the thicker side resulting in bigger knots

@Paige_1 okay thank you, i’ve tried different brands of thread and it’s all been the same so i’ll try doing them tighter

I would tie my knots tighter, it could also be the thickness of the string you use
